About Us
Associated Yacht Services (AYS) is a division of ASSOCIATED STEAMSHIP AGENTS, S.A.Mr. William Andrews founded the firm of W. ANDREWS & COMPANY in Colon in 1889, and with the opening of the Panama Canal to world commerce in 1914, established offices with PAYNE & WARDLAW in Cristobal and Balboa. The firms took the final step of merging into ASSOCIATED STEAMSHIP AGENTS in 1975.
We maintain offices at both sides of the Canal, fully staffed with experienced shipping personnel. Each office is managed by a Director of the Firm, and our customers may rest assured that every vessel consigned to our care receives the best of personal attention.
